Get Involved - Volunteer With Us!

 

The RMRCA is always welcoming individuals that are interested in helping to shape our community and relies on the support of volunteers for nearly everything that we do!  There are many ways to Volunteer and are always looking for engaged community members to contribute their time and energy towards making Rosemont and Mount Royal an even better place to live and work.

There are a number of Board positions available, as well as a need for event volunteers. 

 

All Board positions are for a term of 2 years.  The RMRCA Board meets the first Tuesday of each month, at 7:00 p.m. at the Jack Hamilton Arena from September to June.

1.       Directors:  Directors are voting members of the Board that can lead sub-committees based on their interest. The RMRCA Executive is also filled from the Board Directors such as Chair, Vice, Treasurer and Secretary. 

 

2.      Event Volunteers:  Volunteers are needed to assist with the community events that we hold.  This can include set up/clean up, running registration tables, coordinating vendors, etc.  Volunteers can participate as available.  Some of the events that we need volunteers for  -

 

• Family Fun Day (April)

• Summer Movie Nights (July/August)

• Star Party (September)

• Craft Fair (October/November)

• Winter Outdoor Fun (December)
